TechnoStartUP

Technology oriented start-ups get specific support and encouragement in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. One attractive supporting instrument is the project "TechnoStartup MV", which is contributing in a decisive way. The project is financed by the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism as well as by EU funds (ESF).

Technology Park Greifswald
The Technologiepark Greifswald (Technology Park Greifswald) is the most ambitious project for the economical development within the region with the objective to locate technology-oriented companies here. More than 60 firms with more than 1000 employees already throw a positive light on the location Technologiepark Greifswald.

DISKE
The project DISKE (Development of Innovative Systems through Knowledge Exchange) was realised in the scope of the South Baltic Cross-border Cooperation Programme and the development of a technology park in Elblag (Poland). The main objective of DISKE is the support of knowledge exchange between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), incubators, local authorities and research institutes.

IBI Net

IBI Net (Intercountry Business Incubators Network) aims to establish a transnational business incubator network in the Baltic Sea Region. This network will be a platform for continuous exchange of information, know-how and technologies in order to foster the development of innovative and export-oriented SMEs in the Baltic Sea region.

JOSEFIN
The project JOSEFIN (Joint SME Finance for Innovation) is an initiative that supports the achievement of goals of the Lisbon-strategy in the Baltic Sea region. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) will be specifically supported with the release of their potentials and the development of international markets. JOSEFIN's ambition is to make the access to financial resources easier for technology-oriented SMEs, assist the SMEs' innovative work, the internationalisation of their business activities and strengthen competitiveness as well as sustainable growth.

PlasTEP

The international project PlasTEP (Dissemination and fostering of plasma based technological innovation for environment protection in the BSR) has its origins in the project work of the network BalticNet-PlasmaTec. PlasTEP focuses on informing developers, potential users and experts from politics, economy and science about the contribution of the low temperature plasma physics for environment protection in the Baltic Sea region. One example of their work is the noticeable realisation of plasma-based cleaning technologies for exhaust gases and wastewater.
